FAQs

Where in Madagascar are you based?

We are based in the rural region of Sainte Luce, where we got our name from, which is in the southeast of Madagascar. We have a small studio in the village which lies on the coast. Our supporting NGO, SEED Madagascar, has an office in the nearby town of Fort Dauphin.

Are the artisans paid fairly?

Of course. Each of the embroiderers decides the price of her items based on the cost of the materials and a fair hourly wage. Any general donations we recieve toward the project support the upkeep of the studio and equipment although this is something the artisans also organise and fund themselves. To find out more about where the money goes, contact our International representative on rebecca.dallimore@seedmadagascar.org

Can I purchase items from outside the UK or Madagascar

Yes! We offer international shipping options when you head through to checkout. You can see more information on this on our Shipping Policy page.

Can I order a bespoke product?

Absolutely. If you have an idea for a piece, let us know the product, size and style you have in mind via the contact form on the Contact Page so we can provide you with a quote and timeline for the commission.

Do you offer wholesale?

Yes! We love to collaborate with brands that share our values so if you're interested in selling Stitch products please contact our International representative on rebecca.dallimore@seedmadagascar.org or fill out the form on the Contact Page.
